Thought I'd share the special I just got for anyone else interested. 5qts of conventional Peak motor oil and a purolator oil filter for $12.99...and then there's a mail in rebate of $3.00 from Peak, so you end up getting an oil change for $9.99.

I know there's a large debate over what filters are good and what not, but for that price, I'll gladly go with the purolator...just as long as it's not fram

I took advantage of the 5qts of Mobil1 and Mobil1 filter for $32-- tough to beat the quality for the price (Mobil1 is about $8 a qt and the filter is usually about $10)

I get the 5 quarter jugs from Walmart and the napa blue filters. Comes to just shy of $30, I usually buy 5 of the jugs, the wranglers take 4 quarts and the xj and zj both take the normal 6. We just added a 2000 tacoma 2.7 to the fleet and that takes 5.2 quarts.

Costco has the 6 pack for 32$ ish.

Toyota sure does make some oil hungry trucks don't they? Our 5.7 Tundra takes something like 8 quarts...full synthetic too. And in the winter time, the book calls for the 0W-20 stuff (i.e. water lol).
