Adjustable Control Arms

I just installed RE adustable UCA's. After getting them on and adjusting my pinion angles and rechecking all the bolts, I happened to think that maybe I should have done something to protect the threads in the arms themselves ... like extending them out and greasing them. I live in the "Rust Belt" and wonder if this is something I should have done (or should do)?

Don't ya just luv hinde-site??
