adding receiver to c4x4 front bumper

Hi,

I have a c4x4 front bumper on my '98, is there a way to attach a 2" receiver to it without removal? Can a given aftermarket receiver that lines up be drilled/bolted to it from beneath?

I'd like to get a receiver-mounted temporary winch, also be able to attach one of those Hitch-Haul carriers-mostly for the latter use
