Im installing this 79 F350 HP Dana 60 in my xj along with a chevy 14 bolt rear. I will be needing conversion U joints so i can use my existing drive shafts and hook up to the 60 and 14 bolt.
Anyone have the part numbers of these joints?
THANKS!

You should be able to find an adapter joint at any reputable parts store (NAPA, Carquest, etc.). You're looking for a 1310 to 1350 adapter joint I believe

Don't know the part number....but here's a picture of one :D:

Call Tom Woods.

He has them.

Well a D60 uses a 1310 joint stock... 14 bolt uses a 1350... As far as the conversion joints, as advised above, call a driveline shop.

You must be doing some awesome wheeling to be swapping in 1 ton gear. I ran these axles on my 74 K5, which was one heavy beast. I broke not a thing with those axles.

Just wondering why they would be needed on a rig thats 1/2 the weight of a K5? Bragging rights?

Just asking..

My hp 60 front is a 1350 and my 14 bolt is a 1350. Call any intelligent parts store and ask for a 1310 to 1350 conversion joint and they should know what you are looking for.

Man, if it was only about bragging rights, i'd be all over that! but actually, I just needed that big of an axle to safely run the 38's i want.
Also, thanks for the feedback on the joint, ive got one now.

Seems kind of silly to run half ton u-joints on 1 ton axles......why not upgrade your shafts to full 1350?
