Adam's 98 5-speed Build

Outstanding and very clean build. How did you handle the 8.8 rotors with the 6 lug? Did you weld and re-drill or does someone have blanks?

Rear shafts are Moser custom made moly units. And you just use the D44 front rotor as a template to drill the stock 8.8 rotor.

Just left the 5 lug holes then?

On the rotor? ya wont hurt anything. Did the same thing on the YJ and its had the same rotors for 13yrs now.

Thanks for the quick answers... Again, great build... Very similar approach to my 91 in a lot of ways!

Things to do before rocktoberfest

Cage- tubing should be here tomorrow
Re gear The 8.8- need gears, master install, diff cover may or may not need a new carrier if so I think an e locker would be my choice.
rear shocks- mounted through the floor probably just some new white bodies until I can afford some Fox 2.0's.
Install my 99 intake and banks header
oil change and rear main seal
fix my winch or buy a new one - the LP8500 superwinches are looking good

pulled the jeep in the garage today

got some fancy parts cut out

and bought some steel

to make my rear crossmember belly pan traction bar mount

2 piece interlocking pieces is the plan

Cut out some filler pieces made out of the leftover 2x3 I don't know if i like them or not yet. Could be used for more mounting points

To make clearance for the traction bar I had to remove and re plumb my evap lines and tank vent to the engine bay where I bolted in a older style evap canister.
