AC compressor pulley question

I've done lots of AC work and have the equipment, but I just ran across something I've never done before. My 87 XJ has a crappy compressor. I picked up a replacement Sanden compressor. The hassle is that the replacement compressor has the dual v-belt configuration, but the one it replaces, has the serpentine belt.

Has anyone ever swapped the clutch/pulley on a Sanden compressor? Are there any tips or tricks?

To do that I would have to pull the clutch apart. If I do that I can just swap the clutch. Actually I ran across the manual on the Sanden website. It looks like a royal pain.
