I have a 4.0 block and 4.2 rods. Need a crank for a short rod stroker.

it would pain me to know what shipping will be. Wonder if I can start a shipping chain from Knoxville to Chattanooga or Huntsville?

i just shipped 14lbs USPS for 21$ through work.... i would say the crank easily weighs double that. I would plan on at least 45 to ship, ill try to nail something down tomorrow

yep, I'll just hold out for something local, or at least with in driving distance. Hard to justify that shipping cost when I don't really need the part right now. Just gathering as I go. So far someone gave me a short block and someone gave me some 4.2 rods. So I have $0 in my motor build so far. Looks like it will sell quickly.

It cost me $81.25 to have a four counterweight 258 crankshaft shipped from Michigan to Alabama.

From Knoxville to Huntsville the shipping cost depending on weight will be $30 to $40 with UPS. Down to Highspeed's location is about $5 more.

Of course, if Highspeed still does not want it, the 4.0 in my LJ has been knocking the past 10,000 miles.

I'm out. I hate to pass it up, but getting a crank is about number #8 on my list of things for the XJ. I need to concentrate on some other things first.
