A/C Leaking feels more like my wallet is leaking...

No reason to go to a dealer. Most a/c shops are better equipped to find a leak. Besides, the OP already had the leak confirmed that it was from behind the dash. And for the amount of work one has to do to replace the ac evap and heater core its not worth getting used parts.

Lets also expand that to include OEM parts, until my jeep I NEVER had an evap or heater core go bad, period no matter how long I owned it, with the jeep, it was leaky at the factory, the dealer just kept topping it off till the warranty ran out.

Rich, same here and add radiators- never had a bad one untill jeep!

I6 engines have been around forever in most countrys. To NOT put a fully reliable, life of the vehicle, cooling system has to be deliberate, and a disgrace to any manufacturer with any integrity at all. (for how many YEARS??!!!)

GRRRRRRRR!
