If you guys are going to be there 10 ish, maybe you should stake out a camp site. My possie (3 other rigs) and I probably won't be there till noon at best. Was everybody thinking about camping in the sycamore camp ground, or the one by the obstical course? Personally, I like the sycamore campground, but it may be kinda crowded this weekend. Jimbo, what's your rig/trailer look like so's I can park next to it? I'm a white quad cab dodge with a shell and a lumber rack. See yall's tomorrow!

I've never actually camped there so I think I'd rather someone else do the deciding....
I've got a white king cab f-150. long trailer with side rails on it.

well saturday was fun, except the part about my radiator exploding...
I headed out early, I saw soxyfarmer just pulling in but my jeep died and I lost him so I wasn't able to say hi.

agreed again... my alternator died though... luckily I had an optima in the back just cause I knew it would be going out sometime soon! I packed it full of mud a couple months ago... so now I need an alt... and a trackbar TRE... etc...

OH well!!! that's wheelin'.

Good times! Nice meeting everybody out there this weekend. I would consider it a success. Sorry to hear about your radiator Jimbo and your alternator Tayman. I totally forgot my camera this weekend, so I don't have any pictures. Anyways, thanks again Opie and Phil for putting this on and I'm looking forward to the next run.

My passenger, Josh took some pics, I'll post a few up when I get them from him... probably thurs.

Norcalchris, another friend, and I went and did creek trail... I got a flat. woo... street tires... got it changed, picked up yet anothrr friend (micklongley) , screwed around in the obstacle course a while, and went to go do some more trails... Jeep kept dying under any load... did this prolly 20 times... turns out injectors like a lot of juice... AND my alternator quit putting out, so towards home with a fully charged optima it was... no problems, but it tried to die on a few of the hills when I got under 2500rpm's... kinda crazy...

Good meeting some of you guys! looking foreward to the next one!

Yep. Still hate it. Big pain in the butt to remove. And I'm still looking for a replacement. Translation: I'm not terribly motivated to do what would be required in order to transfer ownship.
