Safer when towing (which I've been doing a lot of lately), more meat on the ground = more traction, you can swap the tires around if one blows out, and they look awesome lifted.

4x4... I would never buy a vehicle that couldn't turn 4 wheels (or in this case 6 ).
4 low is 2.72:1, and the "L" gear on the trans is 5.79:1... in 4 low and low gear it fawkin CRAWLS.

To put that "L" gear into perspective for the less technical people, the 1st gear is 3.30:1 (almost all 5+ gear transmissions are around that number too).
