Jeep has a broken piston skirt in cylinder 5 or 6. Will need repairs.

General/Factory: 98, gunmetal blue, 130k mi, auto, pw, pl, pm, AC, 8.25 rear, roof rack with cross bars, sunroof, factory fogs, factory skids, drawtight rear hitch, factory tow wiring, factory front tow hooks.

Suspension: 4 inch lift (Rustys 3+spacer and MJ shackle), aftermarket LCAs, old style Rubicon Express discos, relocated trackbar, t-case lowered .75".

Driveline: 31" Cooper STT on really clean Eccos, matching spare.
New brakes 1 year ago- rear all new (cyl, hardware, shoes, drums), new factory rear axles lines, front pads and rotors, one side got a caliper.
Got front axle u-joints and rear d-shaft u-joints a few years ago.
Could use the t-case, trans, diffs fluids changed out- I did it when I bought it, including trans filter, about 6 years/50K mi ago.
New NSS 2 years ago

Body: front bumper, rear bumper, flares -all bedlinered and painted matte black.
Has lower body armor that is bedlinered and painted matte black.
It has Hella 550 driving lights on top of front bumper- bright.
Has been in a few fender benders- fixed by Caruba twice, me and my neighbor (works for Carstar) once, as such the front header and driver fender are alittle darker.
Vent visors, bug shield.
CB antenna is integrated into the rear bumper end cap.

Interior: Clean.
Has decent pioneer radio, slush mats, wired for CB under glove box.
Floor had mild rust- I POR'ed it, bedlinered it, and addressed one tiny pinhole with a POR and fiberglass matting patch- now solid.

Engine: Dynomax catback, Fram Air Hog filter.
Oil changed at 3 months or 3K mi, rarely hit 3K first last few years, Use Motorcraft FL-1A filter and semi-syn oil or high quality dino oil.
A/C condenser and high side line and replace bearing on A/C clutch summer 09. New electric fan last spring.

Needs: A PISTON! at the very least it will need a piston replaced due to a cracked or broken skirt. Still runs fine, just rattles. Would not drive far, but you could drive it a short way.
Tires are getting low on tread, could use a tune-up, the LCA bushings are getting loose, has some minor rust.

I spent alot of time getting the pieces and parts to build this up. It is showing some age, but runs strong even with the piston issue, was completely reliable, and great in the woods. I have not put much into it over the last year as I have known I was replacing it this summer. I would be fixing this if I didn't already have another jeep.
