97+ steering wheel aftermarket install

I got the same adapter 53Guy used, but my XJ is a 95. I hope it works. I just don't know when I'll get around to installing it. Sorry.

yeah the 95 should still be a GM column - it looks like the adapter the splined so i dunno - just gonna do a weld on - keep it simple and get a cheap grant wheel - i will post up pics when i get it done

Know if this will work on a pre-97?

Just posting to confirm that the Grant 3021 quick release adapter worked perfectly on my '95. There's a "key" spot on the GM splined hub to index the steering wheel, but the adapter still went on fairly easy.

Has anyone found a REALLY cheap way to adapt a wheel onto a '95 steering hub? I found some adapters for Hondas on ebay for $9.99 shipped! I just don't know how far off it would be for a Jeep. I'm willing to try though

i got a momo for my 99 and it works fine - i think grant makes one for your year that is in the 30 dollar range...
