96 xj diesel swap

Hello all. I have a 1996 xj with a ls/th400 swap. I'm doing away with the ls swap and auto transmission and doing a diesel swap. The swap im doing is a 6.5td with an nv4500 out of my 1993 chevy k2500. I've looked high and low for pics of what people had to cut for the nv4500 but they're all hidden by photo bucket. Does anybody have this transmission in their rig? Is there anything I have to cut other than part of the floor pan for the shift tower?

Because I love 6.5s especially with all the aftermarket support with then you can get duramax power numbers in a small mechanical platform

Lol, sorry dude...you're nuts. I'd believe you if you said 4bt at least, but a 6.5 is garbage no matter how free it is.

My current one has been making 350 hp and 575 ft lbs for 4 years now with no issues. I'd say it's more than proven itself to me

I'll be curious about that as well. But I already have full frame stiffeners and bumper braces. So I guess time will tell. As far as suspension goes I'm already on tons so not too worried about that
