youre not using the puller right then, i usually use a hammer and they fall right out, the tough ones that wont come out w/ a hammer pretty much fall out w/ a puller.

I used a large socket that I didn't mind tearing up and a beefy c-clamp. I took a little muscle but it works.

dude, a pitman puller requires being turned to pull ito ut.... weak on the power scale..

a pickle fork gets beat in, and will pop it out, its also called a TRE Fork..

Get one, theyre like $8, and I promise it'd just beat itself out.

I used PB Blaster (soaked it for days) and a three arm gear puller. Mine is a '99 from NJ with plenty of corrosion and rust. It took a bit of muscle, but it popped out.
