Hey guys I have read through endless threads looking for help on this evasive sputter.
I have a 91' 4.0 HO AX-15 that purrs when cold. As soon as it gets a good heat soak it starts sputtering at idle. As I continue to drive it gets worse and worse, until eventually it will just sputter away at anything beyond half throttle. The engine runs fine until I cross that god-forsaken threshold into the sputter zone.
No CEL on, I replaced MAP and O2 sensors, and I have less than 7k on complete tune-up & service. My cat is good as it recently passed smog.
IAC? CTS? Injector?
All suggestions would be greatly appreciated
