It just started to do this yesterday, I would put it in neutral to freewheel and the motor would just die, happened maybe 6 or 7 times on a 25 mile drive so this morning I run it really low on gas and manage to get to the pump as it starts to sputter so I put 10 gallons in and that seemed to have taken care of the problem.
So today on my way home I'm sitting at a red-light and it stalls, I had it in neutral with my foot on the brake and off the clutch and off the gas, so I start it back up and 2 minutes later it wants to do the same thing but I gave it some gas and it was fine.
Could this be bad gas or a TPS problem? It's a 90XJ, 4.0, AX-15 and aout 190K miles.
I don't know if it's a related issue or not but recently it's been hesitating alot in the mornings the first few times I put it in gear...
Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for the help.
