I searched for pictures on the forum but can't seem to find what I need.
The "fresh-air" blend door on my '90XJ seems to have broken. Temps have been close to the 100 mark in Houston so I really want good AC. I pulled the fan out to inspect the blend door and found that one of the plastic hinge tabs has broken off causing the door to jamb. I recall that the heater box is built in sections and I would prefer to disassemble as little as possible so I am hoping someone has some good pictures showing how the blend door assembly is connected to the rest of the heater box in the hope that I can find a way to remove it without pulling the whole heater box out.
I am resigned to having to remove the dash but I really don't want to drain the heater-core and the AC system if I can help it.
Any help would be appreciated.
thx
Todd
