89 xj compatible with 94 alt?

due to the renix system vs the chrysler system will an alternator from a '94 4.0 ho fit a non ho '89 4.0? thanks in advance, Mark

Nope, the CS series Delco alternator found in the Renix XJ´s has the voltage regulator built into the alternator, the later models, have the regulator seperate/segregated into the ECU.
