Would you have a spare gas tank laying around in the 20 gal flavor?? If so I may have to pay you a visit..

Scott.
sorry scott, got rid of two of them a few months ago, I'll be hitting the junkyard in the next few weeks, I'll keep my eyes open.

may be able to help weld the bracketry, time allowing, some body make me an offer, cash or trade
well I just had a thought, will trade for a new set of 99+ fiberglass flared fenders, I will get contact info here shortly for who makes the 99+ stuff if interested but I believe it is Ajax auto in Coachella or another place in Hemet, anyways they go for about $150 each or $300 total give or take a few bucks so if this is interesting, let me know, somebody contacted me about a possible trade by pm but I accidentally deleted all my pms so he gets first stab if he wants, this is a great deal as the bracket kit itself is considerably more ($400+), show up with the fenders, take it all away and maybe more. I will set it all up so just pay and deliver/pick-up

This is probably the all-time dumbest/obvious question ever but that RE bracket kit is needed to mount this axle on an XJ correct? Other than axle shafts and gears/locker what else is needed to get it going? Would the brakes off my D30 work?

very logical question, a few different methods, never really got into all the parts as I don't need it anymore and never got around to it, way too busy, but this may be accurate, ford F100 outer knuckles/brakes and stub shafts/hubs(?) to get you 5x5.5", waggy inner shafts, gears/locker or carrier, it really depends on the bolt pattern you want to end up with, there are a few writeups on this swap, common because there is no need to shorten it, same width as xj. I will look around for a few more informative threads, search 53guy's posts, I believe he just built one up.
let me know
Chris

How about a 2WD front beam and the fiberglass flares off my MJ (they are not new but they aren't broke either)?

they wouldn't fit the 99+ as the front clip is much more square and the fenders leave a huge gap, I am interested in the beam though.

I've got a set of alloy usa 44 ford out shafts sitting here that my Toyota buddy won at last november's JV raffle.
