nice rig! if only it was an automatic.

good luck on the sale sir

But it's a 6-speed!!!! who cares that its a manual? must be really nice to drive a 6-speed jeep. I've never driven a six speed manual anything.

I am kinda curious though about what gearing this thing has and how long the d35 will last on 35's

True, a six speed tranny is pretty neat. I foresee that 35 lasting foe eva! :P

The gearing of the 6 speed is awesome, lots of punch in first, not to mention low range is extra low! Gear ratio is stock, before I installed the 35s I was certain I would have to re-gear, but driving it and realizing the gearing is near perfect :D And for the D35 I believe it will last you a long time, unless you totally hammer on it. I also build a TJ with 35s and D35 rear and that thing hasn't given at all. Why overbuild it, if it breaks, rebuild it ;) Anyhow, this MJ is one cool rig, I got too many other project going on. And hey, did I mention that this is the very same MJ that was featured in the "six shooter" story in JP Mag?!

does the speedo work?

why you asking?

Because the one in JP couldn't get it to work with an 89 due to the cable speedo. I'm curious if you found the work-around.
