Nicely done... forgot to drill the holes for the center pins though!

Here's a tip... 3/8" socket head cap screws make great center pins... probably a good idea to replace the old ones. XJ's use 5/16", MJ's 3/8".

sounds like a good idea, but we will probably use just regular center pins..

Ok so all of you know i've been working on this ol' MJ for a while. Probably wondering what happened to it? Well see the thing is, I was coming home one night from hanging out; it was wet out and I was doing well over 80...

naw just kidding.

Got the lift on it doesnt look too bad. Front axle went in like nothin' (thx lesslimited) Need some adjustable lower and upper control arms. Needs tires.. you know, the basic stuff.. We put some shims in the rear end to try and get the pinion angle right, but didnt get enough out of the shims. So i'm soon going to be puttin in new shims.

I havnt got around to putting the 4wd tranny and t-case in. (thx Lawncher)Waiting on the bucket seats (thx Haleyes) and money to re-gear the 8.8 and shorten the D-shaft. Anyways here is the truck..

I like it.
Good luck, I thought my project was done, until the alignment shop called and said it would be $400 :(

There is no camber adjustment on the D30. And the castor adjustment is accomplished with LCA shims at the frame end. Buy an angle finder! This is not rocket science.

there is camber adjustment with adjustable sleeves, that's what they had to install.
Quite frankly I was tired of working on it.
Camber was off 1.5* on each side, and that was the costly part.

oooooo ahhhhhh
I wish mine looked that nice.
Get some armor for the rockers, XJnation made me some LWB rock rails.

lol, naw.. i'm going to build my own rocker guards... I'm thinking about trimming the rear fenders as well and raising the flares up. Not sure yet though. I had to bondo one side because it was so rusted out... looks like a lot of work...

Looking very good.

Nice work...looks better than the old mans.

Rev

The only reason it looks better than pops is because it actually has straight body peices! lol. Thanks rev and manche... I'm just itching like crazy for the four wheel drive...

Looks good Egg!

Nicely done.

Well, I know it's not really done, they never are.

I knew those rims would look great on your truck. Armor it first or it'll look like mine... pristine to trashed in a day.
