85 bumper on a 93

I found a rear bumper on a 85 XJ with a swing-out tire carrier and was wondering if it would bolt up to my 93 XJ? I've done a search and all I can find is 96 and older are all the same. I thought only 90-96s were the same. Does anyone know?

It *should* work fine, although I haven't tried it. Go ahead and get it, if it doesn't work you can cut a hole in your existing bumper (provided it isn't junk already ) to recieve the latch for the carrier.

I want to get the bumper and tire carrier assembly together, not just the swing-out. Should the bumper bolt up the same as a 93?

I'm almost postitive it will work man, I'd say go for it, if it doesn't work I'm sure there'd just be very minor modification necessary.
