8.8 & 36" tsl install

i got me some parts over the weekend. i got some of them installed today. here are a few pics and a list of what i got.

i got:

4 super swamper tsl bias ply. 36x12.5x15

ford 8.8 came with 4.10 gears, lsd, u bolts, conversion u joint, drive shaft adapter, spring perches already welded on, shock mount studs

steering damper kit to install with my crossover steering

hd trans cooler

i started today about noon and got done sometime between 4 and 5. i installed the 8.8 and mounted the tsl's.

here are some pics of the progress and work i got done today. i will be installin the rest of the stuff this week.

i think its funny you say that. i have had these on here for about 6 years never had any probs at all. i assure you i am very hard on this jeep. i have bounced and litterly jump the whole jeep many many times. do lots of rock crawlin that was supposed to be way over my jeeps level. x2elite has been there alot of the times i have done stuff i shouldnt have been able to do.

i dont think they are bad as people say. i dont get axle wrap from them. alot could be cause of i have a bastard pack made from xj pack plus 2 k5 leafs. but i have only had the bastard pack for less than a year

We all know that blocks can cause axle wrap, and that there are better ways of doing things. However, Justin has been running the blocks for some time now with no issues, and he has already told me that he has plans on changing his setup soon anyways.

yeah im buildin relocation brackts and about to be doin shackles and gettin rid of the blocks.

are you geared at all? the blocks killed me on mine... i only had an 1.5" block and it caused horrible axle wrap w/ 35s and 4.56s

once i got a full leaf pack it flexed better, and cured my axle wrap

yeah i have 4.10s want high 4.xx or low 5.xx i have awesome flex now will have better with the shackles im gettin fri and then the relocation brackets.

you really cant tell the diff with the 1/4's bent and the fenders too.

i wouldnt know havent wheeled it at all since the 8.8 or swampers. ROM will be the first.

You just have to air them down to about 5 to 5.5 psi

idk if they will go that low and not pop a bead they are on 15x10 non bead lock aluminum wheels
