8.25 axle shafts

does it matter which side i put wich axle shaft in?
Since the diff is in the center i didnt think it would matter but just checking

No, they're the same.

Physically, yea.

But, axles tend not to like being twisted in the opposite direction. Learned that one on a quick street car. The shaft had different torsional marks about 2 inches from the carrier.

New axles, no worries, as they have not been twisted yet. Used axles, there usually is not a problem, BUT it CAN happen.

Thanks, mines an 01 so i dont think they've been twisted yet..but who knows
