Is it possible to convert Crysler 8.25 differential with LSD to an open differential?

ring and pinion are the same. Should be able to swap in an open carrier or find someone wanting to trade axles.
If you swap in an open carrier, you will need to be able to measure the backlash and basically do a gear setup to make sure you dont wear them out prematurely.

Buy or trade for an open differential.
As Goose_XJ88 told. The easier solution is to change only the carrier. All other things are interchangeable.
