if your replacing the carrier and the shafts to 29 spline, it will fit right in.

I have a complete 8.25 axle if anyone needs it. It came out of my 2001. It's 29 spline.

IIRC you need to change the seals though right? Someone with more expreience on this may have more insight but the shaft dia. is different.

The shaft diameter at the bearing and seal is the same.
