So, my ring and pinion blew up this morning, so im going a different way.

I have a powertrax No-Slip locker for a 29 spline axle, i have not put 6k miles on it yet, and it had new springs put in it less than 3k miles ago for $250 OBO

2 sets of stock 29 spline axle shafts for $75 per set.

goin to try to pull these parts out this week, and should be ready for pick up in SALINA (or ship on your dime) by saturday.

Feel free to give me a call at 785-577-1304 or pm me if interested.

I dont know much about the powertrax, Is it a ratcheting style locker? Is it loud, or any popping noises like the lock-rites? I would also like to see pictures of the locker...

Great deal, free bump. wish I could pick it all up

it is the ratcheting style locker, however, it is alot quieter than a lockright. Most of the time you dont hear it at all, you might feel it a little bit.

I will get that axle torn apart and send you some pics by the end of the week.

Shipping to the lower 48 is about $30 depending on residential or business, does not change it very much.

As for what tires, i ran 31s, 33s, & 35s with that locker, and i had 4.56 gears. my problem is i had a bearing go bad and did not know it, so my gears moved and i sheared the teath on them while wheeling. I decided to upgrade to a dana 44 and 4.88s since i has in rebuild mode anyway, so no longer needed any of the 8.25 stuff.

I wheeled this jeep hard at tuttle creek, ks and Disney, OK, and never had a problem with that rear end till the bearing allowed the carrier to move.
