5th Annual Sierra Chapter Holiday Toy Drive, November 17, 2012

I wanted to thank everyone for heading out to PC, we had a great turn out. The weather made it a sloppy good time.

I had a great time and will post pics later, I didn't very many and tried to stay dry in the jeep.

Good to see everyone I haven't seen in a while and meeting new faces. Sorry I didn't stop to say hi to Kevin, Connor and ??? on my way out. By the time I realized it was you I drove by. I was just looking at the lights and cage thinking that's sweet, oh crap that was Kevin....

A big thanks to the Gold Hills Posse 4x4 Club for coming out and helping with the cause.

Thanks again to everyone who was able to donate a toy!

Josh

Any word on the conditions at hollister thinking of going tomorrow

Thanks to Bryan C. and Josh for taking charge of the toy run.

Hollister was fun today. It was a huge sloppy mess and there were TONS of people there for the opening of the new obstacle course but we had a good time. There were more rigs there than I have ever seen at Hollister in my life - probably by a factor of 10. The mud was super sticky; I must've washed about 500 pounds of mud from my XJ when I got home.

I missed out on seeing Tim flop his Big Red on the Jungle trail and using Mr. Ed as a step ladder out of the passenger window. I would've paid money to see that.

had so much fun at PC just getting totally soaked and drinking coffee. so much sticky mud all over the jeep . Such a good chill day

i had a blast today, got to meet some new faces, & got to flop my rig for the first time. had to track down a "non-xj" to winch me over since i am a retard & cant seem to finish my new winch bumper. special thanks to mr. ed for letting me use him as a human ladder so i could climb out the window since it was in the same position as a sunroof should be.
no major damage, just to my ego. i guess you cant run jungle trail at the same speed in an xj as you would in a koh buggy...but i tried!
now i need to get a new pass side mirror assembly.
...and a full exocage.

Thanks to Brian for collecting toys and to everyone else who had a hand in planning this. I made it down there later than I wanted to but I got to meet a few new people, watch some people play around in the slop, and get my WJ a bit nasty too. Tried to get up to the new obstacle course with Boatwrench (I think? I'm terrible with names. Tom Kern?) but there were just too many people up there to get to it. Decided to slide around the sticky/soupy obstacle course for a while and then call it a day.

Hahaha no problem Josh. Hopefully you saw me attempting to wave at you through my barely rolled down window. I gave our toys to Jon.

I had a great time out there despite getting completely soaked (although I had a rain jacket to assist me). It was nice seeing all of you guys again and was nice meeting some new people too!

Hopefully we can get back out there soon when it's not raining and play on some rocks!

another cool shot

Having a stock WJ and previously just a small lift XJ, it was great to see stockers out there having a blast.

Hollister was good, nice seeing everyone and meeting some new people! It was super sloppy and my Jeep is currently getting rained on in front of my neighbors house. Tim, let me know if you want help figuring out your tranny shifting. Hopefully I'll have some pics up tomorrow, as for now, I'm off to bed!
