5 lug to 8 lug adapters

anyone make them that's good quality with standard bolts in them? i have a set of 5x4.75 to 5x4.5 for my rear now from some no name company and they work but looks like crap and have metric lugs.

i need 2 different pairs, 5x4.5 to 8x6.5 for my front and 5x4.75 to 8x6.5 for my rear.

Not sure of the specific patterns, but synergy and alloyusa both make good quality adapters.

why not just buy the right rims? 8 lug rims are cheap, places like summit will get them to you in a few days for 230$ shipped for all 4, probably way cheaper than spacers. I am pretty sure they might not even make an adapter from 5 lug to 8 lug anyway?

the tires have 8 lugs rims now.. also 1200 for them and i don't want to spend another 230. besides i need 2 different patterns anyway and i will have 8 lug axles under this anyway. they are on ebay but idk about qulaity

no personal experience here, but man those adapters look sketchy.

I'm ok with an adapter to change the diameter of the lug spacing, but changing the number of lugs? no thank you.

with that said, is your 9" rear out of a popular application? you might be able to get some alloy shafts for it with a couple lug patterns drilled into the flange for pretty cheap. You can even get them custom made in 8 lug.

anywho, if it was me I would get some cheap 5 lug wheels and either have rear shafts made or those professionally redrilled. new wheels would probably run you just as much as the adapters anyway.

and while I'm rambling, what kind of backspacing do your 8 lug wheels have? and how much width do the adapters add? could be another reason not to run those adapters.

ya i looked into the adapters.... like $300 for all 4 so...... 3 wheels it is as i already have 1 craiger 16in wheel.

my ford 9 is only 58wms and chevy 5x4.75 so i have 1in adapters to bring the axle out to stock WMS and have the right pattern. at first i'm just going to steal my brothers 33s on MOAB rims so it's easier to tweak everything, then toss the 37s on and start cutting hahah
