Yeah I'll have to rig the GoPro up on it. Been driving it now for a couple weeks. The thing is an absolute rocket ship and it's not even tuned yet. 4.10s and 35s. Could not be happier that I was able to keep my trans

To stay under the hood you need a car intake as mentioned and the Corvette accessory drive. The F body drive puts the alternator in interference with the steering gear. I bought the Vette water pump new, used Pontiac G8 balancer (same belt spacing as a Vette), and a Holley alternator/power steering bracket which is a copy of the factory bracket. What's cool is the Vette drive takes a type 2 power steering pump, not a Saginaw like the truck drive. I was able to slightly modify the WJ v8 pump I had on the 4.0 and use it on this bracket. Currently has a 105 amp alternator but the optional 140 amp unit bolts right up

Subscribed! Nice work. Ill be starting a similar swap soon. I have a pristine rust free 2000 2 door, complete 2002 Tahoe donating the engine, SM465, 203/205 doubler, and a D70/D60 combo to swap in. You have already given me some insight to figure out some of the challenges.

Couple pics of the shit box itself. Home made bumpers, full unibody stiffeners, 100% new custom floor pans, Dakota bastard pack rear, front stock coil ACOS, iron man short arms, Durango box ZJ tie rod, 231 SYE with a Novak cable shifter, ARB on board air, crappy 27 spline 8.25 with a limited slip and open hp30. Fun little mild built Jeep

I'm about fed up with the trans in mine.....if it needs much more money to fix (rebuild 2 yrs & 9k miles ago, and now it's doing the same thing again, plus the torque converter appears to have crapped out).I['ll be going to a V8 as well.

Already located a LS 6.0, 4L80E, and NP231 with all wiring & computers to use as a donor

I dont think the NP231 ever came behind the 6.0/4l80E unless someone converted it. In that case you may want to consider an upgrade to a stronger case. At the very least beefing up the 231.

the GM transfer cases use 6 bolt pattern but it is not the same pattern like Jeep TC. You just need a adapter and other input shaft to match the Jeep TC to GM trans. I and some guys from here use the NP231J behind 4L60E without problems.

I would suggest beefing the NP231 (6 planetery gears, thicker chain) or use the GM NP231C (has already thicker chainh..) or NV241 TC.

I switched the input shaft from NV246 (originaly behind 4L60) and the planetary set
