Okay time to get started on this...

If it works out I would love for us to host another 4x4 show in atlanta...

I am going to start next week getting somewhere to have one down here in the Gasden Area. I need input and volunteers to help with this.

I would also like to see our NC members have one of their own Possible???

ya know that parking lot beside the amphitheater is always empty, next to Hwy 411 & across Walnut Street from Gadsden City Hall, & its been used as a diplay area for several auto events before such as the Demo Nascar Cars have setup & displayed there the couple of days before Talladega,, just a thought..
there's no telling what it would cost to get a permit from the city or whatever??
might be cool to do it there should be plenty of room, for a bunch of rigs & maybe even an RTI ramp??

it would be cool if it could be done on the Rocks @ Nocolulla Falls, but it think the city officials might frown abit on peeps Flexin there Jeeps out on the rocks in the Botanical Gardens.. lol..

Count me in! Although I'm a little far from Gasden, I'll do what I can, and hopefully be able to make it over, depending on what the date is.
 
Im not member yet. But will be soon. I could prob host it in statesville, NC. Were pretty much in the middle of the big citys. Hwy 77 and 40 cross thru us so its easy to find.
 
Well, I guess i should hit the forums more often, as far as a show again at my dealership its not gonna happen. the new GM is a little tighter in the wallet and has no desire to host a truck show. i finally got him nailed down on an answer and unfortunately the answer was no. Sorry :( . Now we might be able to find another location. I haven't thought about it much yet. i am a little disappointed and surprised because he seemed somewhat receptive a couple of weeks ago. ('course that could be because i had just finished his vipers performance mods)
i'll think about alternate locations and sponsors over the next couple days and let you know something. if anyone locally has any ideas i would appreciate suggestions.
 
If you can't get something in the atlanta Area I can look in to maybe the Kennasaw and Cartersville area...Can have Kevin's cousin do some lookin for us...
 
Given enough notice ahead of time (to get off work if need be). I should be able to help out if need be. Would rather not travel too far (more than 3 hours).

Can only speak for myself, but I'll help if ya need it or at least be there. I know better than to ask our local Jeep Dlr.

Statesville is pretty central.

2Offroad is in Rowan Co...maybe he can/will get involved too?
 
Alright, I spoke w. the manager at the Dixe Jeep dealership. He said he'd love to have us out. Theres a large feild to the left of the dealership and a hill that we can play on. Im not really sure what else to ask him for. IE. Hotdog lunch or anything like that. I guess that would fall more on us. Now, I need confermations that people would like to participate. Names, numbers, and all that so i can get a running list of people, vehicles and whatnot. I've never done this before so anyone else w/ any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Last year the Dealership was great they supplied Drinks and dogs for free and had some dash plaques and trophies made up...The best thing would be to plan on doing some dogs and drinks...Talk to a local Lance or Golden Flake guys about some small bags of chips. Make up a flyer and post them all over...
 
Ill talk to them and see whats up. Times are tight and i got a feelin id be up to us. When would people want to do this?
 
I put a post in mod tech with a link to here. I guess it was deleted. I realize that there was no tech, but it was just to get some traffic and biuld notice to the event. If any mods read this. Please let me know if I can do it again.
 
i'm not much into shows, but will help anyway i can.
 
Some one please tell me what you want to do. I can get a ramp. Theres a large hill beside the dealerhip we can do hill climbs on. And I can setup an evening run at our local trail. Its about 4 miles long and theres a huge rock garden on the bottom. Ive never sone anything like this before. I figure I'd need at least 20 vehicles to make it worth my while. Also, cherokee only? Jeep only? Or any 4x4?
