4wheel light

So I took the jeep out today around the farm and towards the end I was going to go through some creek beds with some steep sides. Well I threw it in neutral and put it in 4wheel and the light never came on. It seemed to engage. It's a 95 xj. Should I be worried or is it a fuse?

It's likely just the bulb in the back of the cluster. Don't worry about a thing. All the 4wd stuff is mechanical. If it engaged, it's good.

95 was the last year of the disco in the YJ, but I think chryco killed it for the XJ in 91.

the comanche hasn't had a functioning light since it's first axle swap.

all that vacuum crap went away.

My ex drove in 4wd for a month before telling me her car was doing something funny. Made one turn, pondered, then reached down to shove it back into 2wd. No light on an 01 with 80k miles.
