4th Annual Sierra Chapter Holiday Toy Drive, November 19th, 2011

My plan is to collect toys at the main obstacle course at Hollister from 10 to 12 on Saturday.

How about the PC location? I need to update the thread on Pirate.

Time: 10-12 or later
Date: Saturday Nov 19
Place: Prairie City OHV area (Rancho Cordova).

Meet down in the 4x4 area.

I will collect the toys there while we all play around. It should be easy to spot the XJs. I plan on getting there early.

Are you going to lead a run or we'll we just play with whoever?

I will get there around 11 and depending on weather I may camp there.

Thanks Bryan for posting the info. I am planning on coming but not sure which vehicle I get to take. My white XJ has developed an oil pressure problem that Tom is still looking into. That leaves either his green XJ or my Tahoe. Look forward to seeing everyone.

josh i plan on gonig sat morning to PC

Once we finish up withcollecting toys we can do our usual run up the Jungle Trail, over to White Rock, and then onto the top of Hollister.

Looks like rain on Friday, but clear and cold for Saturday. SHould be fun.

I'll be there with my daughter again.

fired up the red P.O.S. tonight for the first time in months.
got the hydro steering bled out & working fine.
now all i need is brown santa to deliver the new shifter cables so i can install them & then fab up a temporary front bumper.
then its go time!

I'll be heading up to HH on Saturday morning. So if anyone from the greater crappy Fresno area wants to caravan with me and my brother or wants to drop off toys for me to take up, let me know...559-261-5141 or by pm.

Is there a consensus on the BBQ yet? If no one else is bringing one, I'll bring mine, but I think there are charcoal type BBQ's at PC. I'll bring some drinks, dogs, and condiments, maybe some chips to share. Burgers, too, if anyone's interested...

There did not seem to be much interest in a BBQ, but I think it would be nice. In years past we just hang around and talk drive some obstacles and talk some more.

The BBQ thing is tough. Most people want to eat what they want when they want it.

I warm up food on my manifold. About 2 hours of driving will cook anything perfectly. Its nice to have warm food on a cold day. I'll have hot dogs going for me and the kid.

Well I may not make it tomorrow, we will have to see. I had to pull my beat to hell front shaft today and the replacement I was gonna buy fell through. I might still bring the toy down but wheeling in 2wd even with a locked rear is Ghetto. I will give the sac guys a call and let you know. Maybe one of you guys can just grab the toys I got before you go in so I dont have to pay.

Will be staying in SJ area off 85/blossom hill tonite. Anyone in the area, what time you leaving in AM and want to caravan?
