Now i have three wheel drive

I was just talking about this the other day... I've never broken a hub. Granted, I've not broke anything on this axle. *Knocking on wood*

ive broken like 1000 shafts, a locker, ring and pinion, and never had a hub fail like that. ive only had to replace hubs because i bounce the selector off rocks and it eventually falls apart lol.

I have broken a ton of hubs over time. It is usually the weakest point after running CTMs and Alloys.

Theyll warranty it, but keep in mind theyre cheapo shit hubs. They were like 80 bucks, now theyre like 60.

I can get a set of drive slugs without springs and dust caps for 25 bucks used on pirate. I might pick them up and then swap them, in before i go wheeling and keep these for street and light offroad use.

Made some new lower shock mounts today. Lowered it about an inch and a half, now my bumpstops will bottom out before my shocks.

Simple but effective.

Also took the front coil spacer out of me jeep for low COG forum cred.

Lowers are pretty flat.

No idea how this happened.

On another note, ive been working a lot of hours recently, so i should have more money to buy cool jeep stuff.

Looks great!

I had to stare at that last pic for like a minute trying to figure out whether your track bar was going to a welded bolt head or what.

Are you sure your shock won't hit the frame when flexed out? Usually the shock needs to be outboard of the LCA mount or it will hit the frame.

Have you had any issues using the chains as limiting straps? Were did you bolt them too?

Chains are long gone, that was temp. for rocktoberfest.

Happy easter!

Did my SYE today. I dont know why i put it off for so long, it was pretty easy, took me about 2.5-3 hours.

How hard it it to get the flange off of my old tom woods shaft, and then put the flange from the other shaft on it?
