4.5 inch leaf packs and maybe drop brackets

I got a pair of chevy drop brackets. I got them on ebay but never put them in. Let me now if your intrested.

never heard of them being used, could you give me more details?
how much lift do they work for? do i have to do any welding? do i need braces?

sorry i need to clarify, i need control arm drop brackets, i will even take those garbage trailmaster ones if somebody has them. but i really need leafs. thats most important.
