Met up with sixditchoffroad, his buddy, a buddy of mine through Team Rubicon, and two dudes from Facebook - one of which brought his GF.
3 XJ's, 1 JK, and 1 Toyota 4runner
AMAZING run - we were doing the regular trail and getting a little itchy to challenge the rigs when we decided to take a (legitimate) spur road that had steep decline initially. This came to another hook up and it had enough snow to make it interesting. Sixditch went first and got a *little* close to the edge, we ended up strapping his left rear with a tow rope to hold him from tipping. He set the bar awfully high.
There were quite a few other groups up there - everyone was chill, and we BS'd with some of the other groups.
I used to wheel a LOT back in college and always ran open open and never had hardly any issues, but I have literally 0 experience in snow (surprisingly) which was an eye opener for me. I'm getting my ARB compressor (to run my f/r ARB's) installed very soon to ensure I'm never in that spot again.
I'll get some pics up ASAP.
