4.0L help....

So has anyone ever rebuilt the top end of their 4.0L motor with 4.0L HO parts? I wanted to change the head over the HO head for better performance and greater aftermarket support....Anybody do this? does anyone know any problems involved with it? wiring...cables? etc.... Thanks
 
I assume you have a non-HO? If so, the ports are shaped differently and the intake ports on the HO head are higher. The non-HO manifolds can be adapted to work with the HO head, but it isn't a bolt-on. Unless you spend a lot of time at high RPM it probably isn't worth the effort involved.
