3rd Annual Spring Meet and Greet: Date Feeler

Well if you are like me you've just about had it with these winter days and snow. I find myself looking forward to the spring and all the fun that it will bring with it. Since we are just a little over two months from our annual spring meet and greet I'd like to get us kicking around to find out what date would work best for the majority. I'd like for us to get this locked down in the next week or so, that way we have plenty of lead time to book the pavilion. Since we are at it what are some things you'd like to see added this year as well.

As tradition goes we hold this event on a Saturday from about 9 or 10 am all the way through until people have to shove off home. If we go late enough this year I'll even bring out the project and screen for movies when it gets dark. Other then what you'd like added we won't get much into the details this thread, we will work that stuff out as usual on the M&G thread.

1. What date works best for you and your crew: 2, 9 16, 23, or I don't care I'll come one way or the other.

2. Anything new you'd like us to add this year?

I am in contact with the park trying to find out if they will have the big spring event again this year like we had last year (police, ambulance, black hawk, etc), but they do not have a date set yet for that.

I can't make the 16th, but any other Saturday would be good.

May want to consider staying away from the 23rd since it is the day before Easter. People may be traveling.

I'm with Cottontail on this, 23rd might be a bit difficult. As long as I'm not in the field, I'll make the drive up from Clarksville.

i should be able to make it. might even be driving a jeep. probably bring a few friends w/ wranglers as well.

i personally liked the one we did at TN offroad, they have the rock garden and some obstacles we can ride on.

They were doing some sort of event at the park same time as ours last year and the kids in attendence all go to go sit in the helicoptors and see the equipment.

It looks like - at the moment anyway - MaxCFM and MaxWife are good for any weekend in April.

i'm good for any weekend in april, as long as i know a week or so in advance. i'm going to try to have a jeep by then, but it depends on fundage. (i'd like to bring the waggy, if all goes well)

Yeh, April is looking bad for us too. Right now we're looking at a road trip to FL for a family event. That's a bummer. We had a blast last year, caravanning with redneck....getting my ears blown out by a couple Star Wars movies...and the NG Helicopter was very kewl!
Redneck, you started making any plans for May??? I'm sure EVERYONE wants to see YOUR PROJECT!:viking:
