Haha, but really there are a couple few good spots on it. Not really sure what the actual rating is, but I'd probably believe Black Diamond, especially since Gold Mountain is now.

Holcomb Creek isn't exactly like it was three and a half years ago.

It's diamond for sure.

Same issues as Holcomb.

Burned out trees and some erosion issues. The AAT wants to get it open. They may ask for some help. We'll see.
 
Great news. Bet that place will be a zoo all summer. Best time to go would be early, early in the morning or on a weekday.

When we ran it a couple years ago, the second rock garden (from the west) was still a lot of fun. Didn't get to do the first rock garden because there was a long line of vehicles and the west entrance was gated off. So we turned around where we were and we were at the end of the line. The water crossing at the east end was pretty deep, about door-high.

Can't wait to run it all the way through and back again. It would be worth getting there at the crack of dawn.

Big thanks to all the guys and gals that put time in to make it happen. Its one of my favorite trails in BB. Sadly I never got to put any time on it, but i'm glad some of you did.

Last time I ran that trail was in my Toyota about 7 years ago or more. I definately want to run it again. Let's put something together. I could do midweek if someone wanted to join me on a midweek run. I will probably need some assistance in getting there because I don't remember.
 
I can do it midweek also and would love to go check it out. I had just signed up with MyJeepRocks ATT crew so I could lend a hand, but then they went and finished it before I could help. I'll make up for it on the next trail that needs some work.

Depending on the time on 7/7 I might be able to make it up for a run, I get off at 6am that day so I'll be tired as a puto!
