its good for drawing up armor, ive already used it for some layouts.
ive been attempting to use it to create a full 3d model, but i just cant find the time, so i dont know if it will ever come to fruition..
There were 3 guys in '02 at Utah State who designed and built a full triangulated coil suspension system for the Cherokee as there senior Mech engineer design project. I was involved in the mini baja so I didn't do anything on their project. They bought 2 cherokees and stripped one and turned it upside down to make measurements of the frame rails and chassis then made a 3d model using Ideas CAD program. I have a few pics of the final product but I didn't get a copy of their cad files as I didn't have a cherokee at the time. I now am kicking myself in the arse for not asking them for it because it had some real nice flex.

Any chance you can get ahold of the guys? I was in Mini Baja too, that was a blast. Now that I'm out my company lets me go as a sponsor. I bring one of our Cub Cadet utility vehicles and help tow broken cars back to the pits.
I actually didn't know the guys except their names at the time (I don't remember them any more) because they were in all of my classes. I sent an email to an old professor I had that was their senior project advisor to see if he has any info or a way to get ahold of them, so I'll cross my fingers but, I'm not holding my breath.
