Should. A 383 is justa 350 +.030" (I think) with a 400CI crankshaft in it - and the SBChevvy mod has been done to death - there's even a kit avaialable at Advance Adapters.
There's also a Yahoo! group for V8/XJ conversions - I think it's v8cherokeexjowners, but I'm not sure. A quick search should turn it up - it's fairly low-traffic, but I seem to recall there being a bit of tech info there...

I don't mean that it's not a viable mod - just that it's been done often enough that information is there, if you just know where to look. I just thought I'd help you see where to look, rather than get another thread started.
Searching here with terms like "350 Chevy" or "Chevrolet V8" is also a possibility - and the if you don't find out everything you want to know, feel free to ask! I think the v8cherokeexjowners group is probably the best place for you to start, tho - since it's a group dedicated to the idea.
Also, if you are willing to consider keeping the inline six (I don't know what your goals are...) you can check out the "strokers" group - and I do know where you can find that one (groups.yahoo.com/group/strokers.)

Glad to help. I really should have looked at your location first - "done to death" is just an expression we use up here, meaning that something has been discussed over and over again, and there's not much need to go over it again. That's why I gave you some search guidelines.
I don't know if AA will ship down to Chile, but it's also worth looking in to. Also, the v8cherokeexjowners group might give you some tips on fabbing something to mount the engine.
I don't recall, but what is the primary language in Chile? Is it Spanish, or Portuguese? Just to refresh my memory...

Are you using a translator, or have you learned English somewhere? "Done to death" is not in terribly common use anymore - just one more example of me showing my age - but I was wondering. I don't see a lot of "translator artifacts" in your writing, which leads me to think you've picked up some English - but translators could also be getting better without my knowing about it...
In any case, have you had any luck with those sources I'd given you?

Hi 5-90, no i'm not using any translator. I learned English in school (some time ago), and I've not practice it for about 5 years, thats why my writting could be not very fluid.
About the sources you gave me, they were useful because I've already sign in the yahoo v8 groups, and have solved some doubts.

Since you're doing English "on your own" - you probably hadn't heard that phrase, and I've run across very few translators that can accurately render figures of speech, idioms, and other little phrases that just don't mean what you'd think they'd mean. However, I do complement you on your English - it's rather better than my Spanish!
