37's + 4.56 = ???

Thats what I was running with my 38's and didn't find it bad at all.....with the 42's it wasn't much worse. Only reason I haven't gone steeper is because I'm doin the motor swap over the winter. But with the 38's it was fine.

I know this guy did it all last season. He has a 4:1 in the tcase....so wheeling isn't too bad. On super technical stuff he would smoke the clutch sometimes.

He drives his rig a lot harder than I drive mine......and he never complained about only having 4.56s on the road. He did tow it a lot though.

I know that he has a set of 5.13s all ready to go in now.....espeically since he has 39" iroks.

Anyway, I think you could get away with it for a little while, but without a 4:1 it would suck.

I run 33x10.5s with 4.88s, and could get by with 4.56, on the highway.
With 37s, 5.13 would be the min.
Remember the weight and rolling mass of those tires.
Brakes, ujoints, driveline, and lets not forget your poor, poor auto tranny.
I see you being passed by bluehairs with grocery carts.
Ever been dusted at a light by a Honda Hybrid?

yea for 37s i would 5.13 if you drive it on the street at all. off road only you might be able to get away w/ 4.56 but you are going to need a 4:1 definately. for my 38.5/39.5(still don't know which) i will be running 5.38s. and I will drive my truck at least 3-5 times a week(hehehe too much money into the XJ to buy another car, o well).
