35's on 4.5 inches of lift?

Apparently My thread was moved....Some idiot didn't realize it was a tech question....so once again...

Does anyone who has 4.5-5.5" lift with cutout flares and 35's know what backspacing works good for a 15x10 rim? And if they will rub...with 2 inch extended bumpstops?

Sorry for even mentioning pictures in this forum (what was I thinking?!?).

Not really sure about rubbing or not, but if you use long enough bumpstops you could do it. IF you are talking about 2" extended bumstops for the front, that not nearly enough. You will need 5" or more of bumpstops to keep those 35's out of the inner fenderwell. Also, 3.75" of backspacing should work good. Wut tires are you running? If its 35x12.5's, then a 8" wide rim will do good and hold the bead on better.

i run 33s on 3.75 inches of lift. i added about 1.5-2 inches of bumpstops front and back and i dont rub. i have severly butchered my front fenders and hid it undersome tj flares, in the back i did as much as i could without welding. in the front take a hammer and beat in the inner fenderwell and you can get a lot more room, you might lose a bit of legroom though:D i plan to go to 4.5-5" soon and will run 35s quite succesfully too i imagine HTH

I have a 3" Skyjacker + 2"BB and I'm running 33s. I can fit 34 LTBs no prob.
35s may be too big for the 4.5". I wouldn't use 15x10s, unless you plan on running wide azz tires. I'd go with the 34x10.50x15 TSL LTBs on 15x8 wheels - LTBs are only $120 each, and very very sick tires. They are labeled 10.50 wide but look more like a 11.50, they are best tire for the price hands down. 4-4.5" backspacing should be good.

and very shitty for a DD.

Since we're talkin tires....I would like something a little quieter than my current 32" MTR's....Not because it's a DD...But I like to drive it to my wheelin spots (some are far away).

Any suggestions for a tire with a true 33.5-34.5 inch size? doesn't have to be QUIET...just like to hear the radio without blowing the speakers.

Trxus MT's are great. quiet on the road and they actually measure their advertised height! cheaper than MTR's too

fuggin pansies. try bias ply, non balanced 36's on a DD with 6.5" of lift and the sawzall treatment.

Truxus MT's I have them and was VERY surprised how much quieter they were than the XTerrains I had before. Even quieter than the Yokohama MT's and I thought they were pretty quiet.

They have the added benefit of being the size they say they are. 33's are 33's.
