So Dave, how'd it go at CTM today? Did Richard nut up for the discount price on 3 sets of 300M stubbs or is he still in the "I have only broke allot of Spicer 30 spline crap so the 33 spline SPICER CRAP should be OK"? Was Jack still pi$$ed at me about the Longfield birfs when ya got there today ? :D :D

My checkbook and I will be there tomorrow. Yes, Richard is on board for a set.
The spicer 33 spline stuff might work with 37. But as we all know 37 might not last for long.
I'm sure the 300M stubs are as strong or stronger than a 35 sline 4130 stub.

Ok Homer I think I understand, some here have no idea what a High 9 with 300M is with relationship to wheeling or for that matter even life in general. :D :D :D

It's got nothing to do with a high nine w/ 300m shafts and their realtionship to the wheeling world...

Your original post has nothing to do with advanced fab. You were asking Dave how'd it go at CTM and if Jack was still pissed at you...Something you could have done via a pm or by posting up in off topic. Where it belongs, oe maybe I'm just missing something.

Why do all these people have hard ons for Chrysler 300M's? I find them ugly myself.

Any discussion about Jeep parts custom made by a CNC machine out of 300M is advanced tech. Looks like I just can't resist............. :)

However, I don't currently have 33 spline Spicer stubs, they are 33 spline Dutchman/Tera stubs and are 1541, which would be similar in strength to 35 spline Spicers. AND, I've never broken a 30 spline Spicer stub........I've broken 4340 19 spline D44 stubs. :D

So how much stronger is 300M supposed to be than 1541 or 4340? I assume a 300M 33 spline stub will be as strong as a 4340 35 spline stub.....or stronger?

Damn, now I also have to pony up for a pair of CTM's. There goes my air bumps for the front. :D

Are you allowed to cut it up and reconfigre the shreddings or does it have to go in in that shape :puke:

Seems like you might lose a tad of ground clearnce over, say, an underside trussed tractor trailer axle with 30" x 9.50" tires.

The way I see it:
With 4340 you leave your spare in the trailer box, with 300M you don't have a spare.
