3 inch lift with 31s...what to trim?

Thanks for the pics! Did you say what the backspacing is on the stock wheels?

Also, I called zone today, spoke with Jeremy, let me mention first that their customer service is top notch, very friendly, very willing to help, Jeremy went as far as to say he didn't care what kind of vehicle my friends drove, if they have technical questions to call him...outstanding. Anyway, Jeremy really thinks that 4" backspacing should fix the issue...he had me measure to verify I did in fact get the desired lift results and my measurements were spot on. So I guess my next move is mounting a 31 on the correct backspaced wheel.

didnt mean wheel spacers, meant coil spring spacers...

i have 3" of lift and 31's and trimming is mandatory for any decent wheeling. i trimmed to the bottom of the fender flare mounting holes and it clearly wasnt enough as the tires mangled both my fenders. i will end up trimming just beyond the lip. granted, if you stick to mild trails, you will probably be fine with a mild trim.

to be fair, in order to get it to rub like that i was going through trails like this or worse
