2wd AX-15 and Stroker?

Not a problem. I've been running a 4.6L stroker in my '92 XJ with AX15 5-speed for the last nine months and 9700 miles without any issues.

Is this with a lot of hard launches and/or abuse?

Thinking that a stroker install may be more interesting than a V8 swap out of the existing 258 in the Javelin.

Not too many hard launches, but then the wheels spin all too easily so not all of the power is getting to the ground. Might be a different story if I had better traction but still with 2WD.
Full-time 4WD would spread the torque to all four wheels and reduce the load on the rear axle.

I got some sand and WD-40 in mine, and also 2 oz. of blinker fluid. I found this here on the site....man its SWEET! It has NEVER preformed better !
