I just replaced the tires on my truck with more On-Road friendly ones. Went Yoko HT/s..
These never let me down, and had great traction the two times I went to Azusa, in the mud and every trip to big bear in the snow.
They were on the truck when I bought it 2 yrs ago and I have put about 12K miles on it since. They have less then 50% of the tread remaining I would say, but not much less. And thats a Honest elvaluation, not a craigslist "only 10% worn" and then you get there and its like 25% left.
These are 32.8" tall so basically a 33" tire for a 16" rim.
