2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4x4, lifted, 31inch tires, 4.0 I6 - $1750 (Denver)

Restore it as a casual weekend 4x4...

She has been great!
Explored almost all the passes in Colorado. Drove between Denver & Detroit many many times.

Pros...
Adjustable lift front & back on 31 x 10.5 inch tires and American Racing rims. Sitting at 1-1.5 inches. Can be adjusted to 3 inch lift.
Full size spare.
Adjustable tie rod.
4.0 liter Inline 6 w/ K&N air intake.
Steering pump replaced 5 yrs ago.
2nd owner. Have owned it for almost 20 years (bought in early 2002)
Alternator, battery & belt replaced Jan 2019.
Trailer hitch. Tows like a champ.
Spent 2000-2004 in Detroit, and has sense been in Colorado.
Cons...
Jeep beauty marks (rust).
Typical XJ, leaks oil.
Was stolen 7-8 years ago. Recovered but had passenger back window replaced & steering column replaced.
Steering box leaking.
Had accident to front 2 yrs ago. Replaced grill w/ unpainted fiberglass, and replaced passenger quarter panel w/ a dark colored quarter panel.
Can't keep a charge. Starter going?
Tie rod ends need replaced.
She has been great.
Inherited a couple cars over the past couple yrs, and just can't give her the love she needs.
Hopefully someone out there needs a project XJ.
Priced w/ age/condition & after market parts in mind.
