2.5 temp sending unit location?

Hi guys,

My temp gauge is full hot with key off. beleive the problem is a wiring short. I have the Chiltons manual, but it doesn't show the location of the temp sending unit for the 2.5. Can anyone tell me where it is located...

On the rear corner of the head, driver's side. It screws in vertically and sticks up about 5/8" to 3/4" with a single wire going to it. If the connector is still OEM, it has a 90-degree rubber boot (like a mini spark plug boot) where it pushes onto the sender.
