REAR -- Lower Arm - Chasis Mounting Point (Left Side)
  • Mounted outside the left chasis.
  • Mounting location used to be MOUTING point for ORIGINAL LEAF SPRING
  • Outside bracket can be strenghten & triangulated if needed
  • Since all of the load will be spread on 4 links on the chasis (Upper Arms and Lower Arms), at this point I don't think I need to strenghten this mounting point.
  • With the existing power (less than 350 HP), and for street use only, I do not think that I will have "AXLE - TWISTING" problems at this moment.
  • Maximum will be place on UPPER SHOCKS Mounting Locations. This, I think would be the area that I need to strenghten.

Are you going to use a 242 t-case and make it all wheel drive? I am still learning about all this stuff (link's and there effects) but i would think(correct me if im wrong0 that by having the front axle pulling as well that it would take some of the forces off of the rear suspension.

Yes, a little bit. And I am also STILL LEARNING day-by-day about everything else...., so you are not alone...

DEFINITELY a 242 T-CASE, like in my Speed Off-Road Tubular Wrangler.
However, at this moment, no-one is selling such T-CASE, and I just dont want to buy and shipped it to Jakarta, INDONESIA.

Until such time, I have to live with the existing T-CASE...
